Those who haven’t found a chat filter yet can find a specific chat by using the search bar on the app. One simply has to type in the search bar something related to the specific chat they are looking for and WhatsApp will display all the results similar to your input. This feature helps in finding months-old chats instantly.
The new Chat Filter feature empowers users to efficiently organize their conversations, streamlining the process of accessing specific chats without having to navigate through an extensive list. Additionally, the inclusion of a filter dedicated to displaying group chats provides users with a streamlined approach to managing their communication channels.
The chat filtering feature is appearing in WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.24.6.16. Those who want to try out the feature can sign up for the platform’s beta program through the Play Store. However, it is hard to register because the program is already filled with thousands of people and you will only be able to register if someone leaves it. If the feature works well in the beta version then it may also come in the stable version soon. But, the company has not yet confirmed the public release of this feature.
